This qualification is of relevance to the Learning Professional who is looking to gain more influence in his or her organisation. Participants will develop strong skills in the analysis, design and delivery of training, enabling them to implement full training programmes that help to achieve organisation objectives.

Who should attend?

This programme follows on from the Foundation Certificate in Staff Development. Potential candidates for the Certificate should normally complete the Foundation Certificate first.

This qualifications is for:

  • Those within a full time training or learning and development role seeking to ensure a strong knowledge and skill foundation from which to progress their career.
  • Those with some experience and wishing to consolidate their knowledge and skills with a relevant qualification.
  • Those wishing to establish a strong basis to move onto the Advanced Certificate and specialist Diploma.
  • Those entering management roles with the L& D Profession and seeking to appreciate the unique roles within their new domain.
