Robert Stephenson - Head of Youth Coaching and Mentoring
Robert Stephenson is Head of Youth Coaching and Mentoring with the Smart School of Coaching
Robert trained as an actor/teacher at Rose Bruford School of Speech and Drama in the late 80’s, and went on to become a founder member of Unclassified Arts Ltd. And for over a decade have been involved in physical theatre arts training in a variety of fields.
He also creates Special Educational Needs drama workshops, designs and delivers bespoke training programs to educational institutions from Pre School to Adult Education.
Robert is an ILM qualified coach working in the areas of Youth Development, Career, Motivation and Performance. He has worked extensively with organisations delivering Creative Programmes in schools. He is also a tutor for WAC Arts and Media College, and a Regular Visiting Lecturer for Essex University.
He is an E.X.C.I.T.E. (EXcellence in Creativity and Innovation in Teaching and Education) and “Stand Up Stand Out” (Performance Partnership) Graduate.
Robert's unwavering commitlment to the future of the young people he works with makes him a brilliant lead for the Smart School's development work around youth coaching and mentoring.
