The course should take around 6 to 10 months to complete. However, there is no set end time and you may take as long as you need to complete it.

The course is of variable duration because it depends on how long it takes each student to complete his or her practice hours outside of the training weekends. We keep this open as we appreciate that our students are often full time employed or running their own business and so need to manage the training to suit their time.

Absolutely! All of our courses are geared towards people who are either working full time, parenting full time or running their own business. Our aim is to ensure you can complete the course and become an exceptional NLP 7 hypnotherapy practitioner without creating upheaval and unrealistic burdens on you. That’s why the training takes place at the weekend to avoid disrupting your working week and the support takes place online recognising that not everyone has the time to attend live events in the evenings.

At the moment all of our courses take place at the weekend as this means our students do not need to disrupt their working week. We appreciate that some people work at weekends or have commitments then but we have found that for the majority of people weekends are the best time to avoid taking annual leave to train with us.

The course is for people who want to work at a therapeutic level with NLP and hypnotherapy. In other words, you want to work on core life issues for people rather than using NLP as a management or sales tool. The course is ideal if you wish to blend NLP and hypnotherapy with other forms of therapy or coaching in a private practice and equally the two skills works perfectly by themselves to create core change in people. In most instances, people who join this course will be looking to work independently with their own private practice either full time or as a rewarding supplementary income.

There are many differences between our Person-Centred NLP & Hypnotherapy programme and traditional NLP courses. Few, if any, other NLP courses offer mentoring around real-life practice but we believe this is a critical part of ensuring you come out of the training with real confidence and skills. The course is delivered over an extended period of time to ensure we help you embed the learning. This is in marked contrast to the many accelerated courses available which promise quick learning but in reality leave you feeling unsure about the skills and unable to use them in practice. Unlike most NLP courses where hypnotherapy is side-lined as an “extra”, we integrate hypnotherapy throughout and you’ll become an expert in facilitating change through unconscious processes that create lasting change. The programme has been specifically developed for people who are serious about using NLP and hypnotherapy at a deeper therapeutic level and this marks it out in terms of its level of rigour, support and content.

Imagine learning to drive from a book and passing a written test. Then you take a real car out onto a real road! That would clearly be crazy and yet this happens a lot in NLP training! For us, it’s important you have real-life experience and so you will complete 30 hours of NLP and hypnotherapy practice outside of the training weekends. By working with real-life clients you will gain the experience and confidence needed to continue as a practitioner after you qualify. NLP and hypnotherapy are practical skills and it’s vital that you practice them.

Practice clients can be found quite easily. On your first weekend we help you arrange “swaps” with your fellow practitioners. We also have an active forum where people “offer” friends and family who would like coaching. Outside of these forums we find our students get their clients from a wide range of sources and we'll share these with you on the course.

The mentoring supports you with the practical work you undertake with your clients and with your journey through the course. Mentoring takes place in small groups online on a monthly basis and allows you to discuss your client work in detail exploring where you have challenges as well as what is working well for you.

The Smart Zone is an online members area with videos of the live training, resources and a discussion forum which you to access whenever you want. Once you join the course, you’ll be given access to the members area.

You’ll be expected to write up case studies of your client work but there are no essays.

To qualify you need to attend all six weekends of live training, complete your practice hours and submit your case studies.

We ensure that we keep our groups small enough that the trainer can have close engagement with each member of the group to ensure you’re on track and getting what you need from the training. On our NLP & Hypnotherapy course, our groups are never larger than 12 people.

The is comprised of 78 hours of live training. The total study time is around 180 hours including completion of the case study coaching, reflective learning, online videos, mentoring and webinars.
